Is versa shield required on a new slab that has a vapor barrier in place under slab?
Thanks for the question. If the slab is adequately dry enough, as measured with a relative humidity device in the concrete, to accept the flooring system, as specified by the flooring manufacturer, then it wouldn’t be required.
